The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is being armored since 1985 in Bremen-Germany. The current model (V221) of the S-600, the S-500 and S-500 4matic is armored to the highest levels of ballistic protection by TRANSECO in B6 and up to B7. The S-Class is the most requested armored head of state vehicle in the high end market.
The Land Cruiser 200 is available by TRANSECO in high level protection VR-6 (B6 certified) up to Stanag Level II and B7 according to the new ballistic guidelines. Since 1998 more than 640 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and the predecessor model Toyota Land Cruiser 100 have been build according to the various levels of armor.
The Mercedes Benz G-500 and G-55, also available as right hand drive, are armored by TRANSECO in level B6 as well as in level B7. Since 1994 the G-Class has been armored in Bremen-Germany and still belongs to the most reliable armored SUV´s in the world.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 200 has been developed by TRANSECO with a 30cm extended wheelbase and is available in protection level B6 up to Stanag level II. The extended wheelbase guarantees additional space in the rear of the vehicle and more over provides the opportunity to intigrate a partition wall between the front and rear passangers.
Predominantly for governments in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, the Mercedes Benz G-Class has been developed with a 50cm extended wheelbase. Based on this extended wheelbase the G-500 and G-55 is armored by TRANSECO in level B6.
The Lexus LX 570 has been developed by TRANSECO with a 30cm extended wheelbase and is available in protection level B6 up to Stanag level II. The extended wheelbase guarantees additional space in the rear of the LX 570 and more over provides the opportunity to intigrate a partition wall between the front and rear passengers.
